Diss Vixens Under-18s have been celebrating ending their season with some silverware.

Up against a combined side of players from Norwich, Wymondham and Beccles on May 1, the Vixens chalked up a comprehensive 58-5 victory to lift the Norfolk Cup.

Skye Garnett set the tone with the game’s opening try with less than two minutes on the clock. Further tries from the likes of Erin Freeman, Scarlett Stanley, Bee Johnson, Megan Stanley, Megan Richardson and Mia Somers put Diss in complete control of proceedings.

Coach Noel Robinson said: “It is a fantastic end to a great season by the Under-18s.

"This group of young ladies have constantly performed miracles for the club. They have welcomed new players and individuals from other clubs as friends.

“They have helped each other through problems both on and off the pitch. They are fun to be with and fun to coach.

"There have been outstanding moments of play and sportsmanship and never have they let themselves, the coaching team or the club down. They are all superstars.”

Diss team: Skye Garnett, Morgan Mooney, Bethany Robinson, Emma Ford, Hannah Salt, Phoebe Clark, Megan Richardson, Scarlett Standley, Aimee Seaman, Erin Freeman, Mia Somers, Megan Stanley, Caitlin Cameron, Lauren Pike, Bee Johnson and Katie Day.
