Gorleston trio sign for Thurlow Nunn League First Division North side Diss Town

Manager Jon Abbott has continued to shape his Diss Town squad for the 2019/20 Thurlow Nunn League First Division North season with the addition of three players from Gorleston.

The Tangerines started their summer of recruitment yesterday with the arrival of former Harleston Town striker Ryan Fuller and Scole United winger Joe Hooton.

And the pair have now been joined by a trio that finished 15th in the Premier Division with the Greens last term.

Midfielder Angus Mackie and defender Andrew Taylor have both previously played for Diss, while another defender – David Shade – will be a new face at Brewers Green Lane.

Former Norwich United player Mackie made 29 appearances for Gorleston in 2018/19, while Taylor featured on 42 occasions – a number of which were as captain. Shade, meanwhile, found the net six times from his 31 outings.
