Wroxham announce agreement to sign Diss Town’s leading goalscorer Liam Jackson

Diss Town have lost the services of last season’s leading marksman Liam Jackson.

After joining the Tangerines last summer following stints with the likes of Norwich United, Leiston, Sheringham and Harleston Town, Jackson went on to score 20 goals in 34 appearances as Diss finished in the Thurlow Nunn League First Division North play-offs.

However, that form has attracted the attention of higher-league Wroxham, who have confirmed that they have reached an agreement to sign the striker.

Speaking on Wroxham’s social media channels, manager Jordan Southgate said: “I’ve wanted LJ on board for some time.

“He’s a proven goalscorer at every level he’s played at and I know the fans will love him.”
