Diss Town handed home draw in Norfolk Senior Cup third round

Diss Town have been drawn at home to Caister in the third round of the Norfolk Senior Cup.

The Tangerines booked their place in this evening's draw thanks to a late 2-1 victory at the expense of Bradenham Wanderers on Friday night.

And their reward is another home tie against lower-league opposition, with Anglian Combination Premier Division outfit Caister heading to Brewers Green Lane on Saturday, April 24.

The winner of that tie will then have home advantage in the quarter-finals against either Thorpe St Andrew or Gorleston – and that fixture is scheduled for Wednesday, April 28.

Harleston Town, meanwhile, still have their second round tie to play at home against Fakenham Town on Tuesday evening.

Should they advance through that clash they will head to Norwich CBS in round three, followed by another away match at either King's Lynn Town Reserves, Swaffham Town or Mulbarton Wanderers in the last eight.
