Diss Town sign former Sheringham, Harleston Town, Norwich United, Leiston and Gorleston striker Liam Jackson

Diss Town have completed the signing of striker Liam Jackson from Sheringham.

The 26-year-old, who becomes the Tangerines’ first signing of the summer, made eight appearances and scored two goals for the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division outfit last term following his arrival in December.

For the first half of last campaign, Jackson made 14 appearances for Harleston Town, in which time he netted twice.

The front man is best known for his two spells at Norwich United, where he had four successful seasons in his first before departing to Leiston in the summer of 2020.

While at Leiston, he scored eight goals in 12 games during the curtailed 2020/2021 campaign ahead of re-signing for Norwich United in May 2021.

The following term, Jackson enjoyed a fruitful 28-goal season that helped his side to a fifth-placed finish in the Premier Division, and earned him a move to Step-4 side Gorleston.
