Scole make it eight wins on the spin

Scole United 7
Hindringham 0
Scole United secured their eighth consecutive victory with an emphatic 7-0 success at home to Hindringham.
After a sluggish start to proceedings, United finally burst into life and opened the scoring through Billy Davies’ powerful strike before Ben Cussons bundled home a second to double the advantage.
This heralded a Hindringham collapse as two further quickfire goals followed before the break as James Edwards added a third from Marc Pearce’s flick on before Ed Cussons picked out Pearce to slot home a fourth from close range to put Scole well in control at the break.
The momentum carried over after the interval as Scole made it five midway through the half when captain Nathan Ireland scored a rare goal with a neat finish.
Shortly after it became six as Ed Cussons got his name on the scoresheet following excellent work out wide from James Edwards.
The Hindringham custodian made a fine stop to prevent Scole adding a seventh minutes later but the home side were not to be denied shortly after.
Will Goulding received the ball out wide, cut inside before curling an excellent finish into the corner of the goal to wrap up proceedings and seal the victory.
