Old Buckenham saw their perfect start to the new Norfolk Cricket Alliance Premier Division halted after suffering a 97-run defeat at home to Brooke.

The visitors batted first and posted a commanding target of 215 which proved too far for the home side who could only muster a total of 118 to fall short. The result leaves Bucks in fourth place in the table.

Elsewhere, Diss (248-8) continued to recover from a poor start to the season with a second successive victory as they overcame Swardeston A (130) in a 118-run win.

The victory saw Diss climb up to sixth in the league as they continue to build on momentum.
