Norwich City fan Edward Seaman says: Time to put dramas to bed and focus once more

After all the off field drama of the last fortnight, the well-timed international break seems to have brought back a sense of decorum to the club.

Naturally, there were a lot of knee-jerk comments following the Lewis Grabban saga and Bradley Johnson’s shock exit from the club but it’s time to put that behind us.

It’s almost fate how Grabban’s first involvement could come against the club he was close to re-joining, Bournemouth.

As long as he is willing to give 100%, it is important to support Grabban as getting a three points against a rival side is more important than petty grudges.

That said, it’s been nice to sit back over the last week and watch so many City players in international action.

It’s great to see Kyle Lafferty making headlines for Northern Ireland, and it will be interesting to see where he fits in to Alex Neil’s plans after insisting he wants to stay and fight for his place.

Perhaps more importantly is the news that Martin Olsson made it through two matches for Sweden, his return is a massive boost.

I like Robbie Brady but for me he has been vulnerable at left back. That’s not a criticism as his best position is on the wing, and I am looking forward to see him fill that berth.

Both Brady and Olsson have ability going forward and if they can strike a good understanding, it will provide the perfect balance to the direct threat of Nathan Redmond on the right.

Andre Wisdom will come in for the suspended Steven Whittaker but the other new boys will probably have to wait for their first starts.

Bournemouth visit Carrow Road with Neil’s side still looking for their first home win of the season.

We all know the threat Eddie Howe’s men possess. Their quick, short passing game has already shown to be effective on the road this season.

But if we play in the same manner as they did against Stoke but take our chances, we’ve got a great chance to record that first home win.

On the ball City!
