Norwich City fan Edward Seaman says: Redmond and Grabban can get us into play-offs

Now that’s more like it, isn’t it?

Five second-half goals left us all feeling rather good on Saturday night, especially when we consider the levels of frustration felt at Carrow Road on numerous occasions this season.

However, at half-time with Huddersfield already having been down to 10 men for over 25 minutes, I am sure I wasn’t the only one thinking ‘here we go again’.

But one player, someone who I think hasn’t received enough praise so far this season, changed the game: Nathan Redmond.

It is no secret what Redmond is all about: pace, trickery and directness, but one accusation that could be levelled at him was his lack of goals.

Perhaps then there was a tinge of irony that only his second goal for the club would arrive from his head, and not from the ground.

I think at times this season Redmond has been outstanding and has deserved his goal. As I said, teams know what he is about and more often than not, he will find himself double marked, but his creativity and spark are second to none in this division.

With January approaching, if there was one player I had to choose to definitely remain at the club, it would almost definitely be him.

It was also pleasing to see Lewis Grabban back on the scoresheet. After such a promising start to his City career, his form had somewhat eluded him over recent weeks and I don’t think the criticism thrown his way was in any way harsh.

Grabban’s finish was top class, and hopefully that will give him the confidence to get back among the goals and smile a bit.

The victory sets us up nicely for Saturday’s trip to Derby and a great chance to re-establish ourselves as promotion contenders.

Derby are a very good side, but with the team finding form again, and the return of key players such as Wes Hoolahan, there is no reason why we cannot go there and take all three points and move back into the top six.
