The Harleston Magpies Boys Under-18s were crowned National Indoor Club champions in Nottingham last weekend.
The youngsters were unbeaten over the course of the two-day tournament, culiminating in a victory over pre-tournament favourites Beeston to clinch the trophy.
A 5-3 win over Surbiton was followed up by a 7-1 triumph at the expense of Ashmoor to leave the Magpies top of their group after Saturday’s round of matches.
They opened up on Sunday by scoring five goals without reply against York, before Stourport were beaten 3-1 in the final group outing to secure their spot in the semi-finals.
A 5-2 win over fellow East Anglian outfit Peterborough then saw Harleston advance through to the final, where two goals from Zum Akhter and one courtesy of Toby Price wrapped up a 3-1 win over Nottinghamshire-based Beeston.
