Long Stratton Gymnastics Club member Evie Rodwell clinched the Junior National Down Syndrome Artistic Gymnastics Championship.
As part of the Special Olympics squad, Rodwell secured a gold medal on the vault, silver on the beam, bronze for the asymmetric bars and fourth place on the floor to leave her celebrating the overall victory in Leicester.
As a result she will be travelling to Italy in November with the British team to compete in the World Down Syndrome Championship against 10 other countries including the USA, Russia and South Africa.
To help with her efforts, Rodwell is seeking sponsorship to attend the three-day event and any donations can be made via justgiving.com.
