Despite having a number of key
boxers injured, Attleborough Amateur Boxing Club enjoyed another fantastic home show on Saturday.

As a first for the club, the whole show was broadcast live on the internet via Suffolk and Norfolk Youth Action (SNYA).

The camaraderie of the boxing community was there for all to see with a party from Ireland competing at the event, Trojan ABC from County Kerry, in what is planned as a regular exchange between the two clubs.

The card had 16 well-matched bouts, which was a credit to the travelling clubs who battled against heavy falling snow.

All home boxers gave a fantastic account of themselves with the performance of the night coming from Milo Clay, who recorded a second-round stoppage in what was his first competitive appearance in the ring in front of his travelling army of supporters from Thetford.

The Mayor of Attleborough, Sam Taylor, together with district councillor Adrian Stasiak, presented the trophies at the end of the show to the boxers of the night.

n New members at the club are always made welcome and further details can be found, including training times, on the club website: www.attleborougham, or by emailing
