Thurlow Nunn League reveals plan to start new season in late July

The Thurlow Nunn League has announced that its 2021/22 seasons will get under way on Saturday, July 31.

Like all football at a lower level, the Thurlow Nunn League has seen the last two campaigns ended early due to the impact of Covid-19 restrictions.

However, with the vaccine programme having been rolled out a positive rate, the hope is that next term will be completed to a full conclusion.

Nevertheless, in case of any further pandemic complications, the Thurlow Nunn League intends reach the halfway point by November, with League Cups not scheduled to start until January at the earliest.

It would therefore seem that teams will have a lot of midweek action during the first few months of the upcoming season.

The FA Cup, meanwhile, is expected to start seven days later on Saturday, August 7.
