Future golfing talent is on show in junior event




The golfing talent of the future was on display at Stonahm Barns over the weekend as they staged the Junior Player Championship.

The main prize of the competition went to James Cook, who claimed victory with an excellent score of 31 (two over par)to finish ahead of Ryan Turnbull who was a further two points behind, to win the under-12 boys’ trophy.

The under-10 Girls’ trophy went to Rio Everitt with an impressive score of 35, the third best overall core of the day, while 13-year-old Tegan Arlow clinched the under-15s’ trophy with a score of 37.
