Diss match against Wisbech postponed due to frozen pitch

Diss’ match at home to Wisbech tomorrow has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

The two sides were set to meet in Counties 1 Eastern Counties for the first time since the in-game death of Arturas Rudys in October, which saw the 27-year-old suffer a cardiac arrest at the match in Cambridgeshire.

Diss chairman Andy Jermy said that a glass would be raised to Rudys in the pre-match lunch, which is still going ahead.

“Please note that the lunch is going ahead as planned and we look forward to seeing you if you have booked

“Keep an eye on your socials, emails and the website for re-scheduled date.”
