The well-renowned Cricketer Magazine recent included Framlingham College in its list of Top 100 Cricketing Schools – one of just three schools in East Anglia to have achieved that accolade.

And performances on the pitch have so far justified that status, with impressive wins ranging from the Under-9 Girls through to the Boys’ first team.

Individually, Lottie Riley – captain of the Girls’ first team – shone during the clash against Norwich School, ending with figures of 5-4.

Meanwhile, the trio of Jack Hobbs, Freddie Hedlreich and Tom Addison all produced the goods during encounter against St Joseph’s College.

Hobbs scored an unbeaten 100 for the Boys’ first team, while Heldreich took 7-34 with the ball in hand during the same game.

As for Addison, he shone for the Boys’ second team when claiming five St Jospeh’s College’s wickets for only 14 runs.

Elsewhere, Jonty Lecompte scored 124 not out for the Boys’ second team versus Ipswich School, with Sam Mermagen recording 6-7 for the Boys’ third term against Gresham’s School.

Bailey Farrant has been among the runs for the Boys’ Under-15 A side, hitting an unbeaten 107 and 103 in encounters with St Joseph’s College and Ipswich School respectively.

Team-mate Elliot Fox took 5-27 against St Joseph’s College, while the Under-14 Boys’ George Jackson recorded 5-13 against RHS.
