Diss Town saw a match unbeaten run come to an abrupt end as a second-half capitulation saw them fall to a 4-1 defeat at Brantham Athletic.
After going into the interval with a 1-0 lead the Tangerines shipped four goals without reply after the break to leave them second bottom in the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division, six points adrift of safety.
There was also disappointment for Debenham LC, who remain winless in three matches in the First Division following a disappointing 3-0 defeat at home to title rivals Saffron Walden Town.
The defeat further dented the Hornets title hopes, who remain third, nine points adrift of leaders Long Melford.
Elsewhere, Diss Rugby Club climbed to second in the table following a fifth consecutive success as they overcame South Woodham Ferrers in a 19-7 win.
The result leaves Roger Coombs’ men four points behind table-toppers Chelmsford.
