Diss Town to face Easton, Dereham Town, Thetford Town and Bungay Town in pre-season fixtures

Diss Town have announced their pre-season fixtures ahead of the upcoming Thurlow Nunn League First Division North campaign.

Garth Good’s side achieved an eighth-placed finish last season and, with the confidence that they will retain all of last season’s squad, are looking to achieve a play-off finish next term.

The Tangerines will kick-off their pre-season on either Tuesday, July 9 or Wednesday, July 10 – which depends on whether England qualify for the Euro 2024 semi-finals – when they will host Fosters Solicitors Anglian Combination Premier Division outfit Easton.

Brewers Green Lane will then welcome Premier Division outfit Dereham Town on Friday, July 12, who were knocked out in the play-off semi-finals last season.

Another side who finished in the Premier Divison play-off places, Thetford Town, will be Diss’ next opponents – as the Tangerines make the trip to Mundford Road on Tuesday, July 16.

And Good’s side will conclude their pre-season campaign on Saturday, July 20 when they visit Bungay Town – who won promotion from the Fosters Solicitors Anglian Combination Division One last season.

Kick-off times are yet to be announced.

Diss will get their First Division North campaign underway on Saturday July, 27.
