Diss Otters Swimming Club hosts inaugural Springboard Development Gala at Diss Leisure Centre

By Sport Diss

Diss Otters Swimming Club hosted its inaugural Springboard Development Gala at Diss Leisure Centre earlier this month.

Sponsored by local company Dipple and Conway Opticians, it proved to be a highly successful event, which was designed for less experienced swimmers in the junior squads to give them the chance to get competitive races and times under their belts away from the bigger Open Galas that they will compete in over the coming months and years.

More than 60 swimmers competed throughout the meeting, with the clubs from Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft & Oulton Broad joining their Diss counterparts in the pool.
