Diss Cricket Club sign Barbados all-rounder Kadeem Alleyne for 2021 Norfolk Cricket Alliance Premier Division season
Diss Cricket Club have completed their overseas signing for the upcoming Norfolk Cricket Alliance Premier Division campaign.
All-rounder Kadeem Alleyne, who has represented Barbados at various youth levels, is the player that will link up with the Rectory Meadow-based outfit.
Alleyne will arrive in the country later this week and will have to go undergo a period of isolation – as per Covid-19 regulations – before he is able to link up with his new team-mates.
Diss captain Lewis Taylor said: "I am extremely happy to have secured the signing of Kadeem for the upcoming season.
"He is a very exciting and explosive player and I have no doubt he will make an instant impact for us. Everyone at the club is looking forward to having him onboard."
Alleyne will miss Saturday's opener at home against Norwich and possibly the following weekend's trip to Downham Stow, with the latter dependent upon when he begins his quarantine stint.
