Diss battle back to seal away point

Diss Town Reserves battled back from a goal down to claim a share of the spoils at Stowmarket Town Reserves in Thurlow Nunn Reserve League Division One.

The visitors started brightly with Jake McDowall rattling the crossbar but it was the hosts who opened the scoring in the seventh minute through Chris Alcock’s tidy finish.

Diss rallied after the interval and finally levelled with six minutes left as McDowall steered a low shot home.
