It proved a disappointing weekend for Diss Town Under-15s and Under-14s as both sides slumped to emphatic 4-1 defeats.

For the Under-15s, the setback came in an unexpected loss at home to Honington Foxes as a lacklustre first-half display was punished as the hosts found themsleves 2-0 down at the break.

Diss improved after the interval but as they poured forward in search of a way back into the game Honington added two further goals on the break.

Dan Whyman grabbed a late consolation in an otherwise forgettable afternoon.

That disappointment transferred over to the Under-14s who opened the scoring through Kieran Allen away at Ipswich Valley Rangers Whites.

Rangers soon struck level before seizing control with three second-half strikes to seize victory despite the best efforts of Harry Maguire, Alex Chittock, Lesley Mabeleka, Aidan Boosey, Charlie Crawford, Nathan Channell, Charlie Bowen, Archie Hewitt and Jack Burrows.
