It has been a busy morning for Debenham LC, who have announced two new signings and the appointment of their captain for the upcoming 2021/22 Thurlow Nunn League First Division North campaign.

The first of the additions to be confirmed was Kyron Andrews – a player that is returning to the club after spells with the likes of Hadleigh United and Woodbridge Town.

The attack-minded player also had a stint turning out for Coddenham Athletic towards the back end of last term.

And Andrews has been joined in putting pen to paper with the Hornets by Luke Dunn.

The midfielder, who has previously played for Ipswich Wanderers, was on the books of Bourne Vale United in 2020/21.

Meanwhile, boss Guy Hayes has opted to hand the skipper's armband to striker Jay Cole for the forthcoming season.

The frontman scored once from his eight appearances for Debenham before Covid-19 forced the previous campaign to be abandoned.
