Harleston Town sign former Norwich United and Dereham Town midfielder Adam Hipperson from Lowestoft Town
Harleston Town have completed the signing of Adam Hipperson from Lowestoft Town.
The experienced attacking midfielder won the Pitching In Isthmian League North Division title with Trawler Boys last term, in which he netted 12 goals in 35 appearances under former Magpies boss Adam Gusterson.
The former Norwich City youngster joined Lowestoft from Dereham Town in the summer of 2022 and has also plied his trade at Norwich United.
“Adam is a player that will not only improve the squad but will improve the players around him and will lead by example in pushing he club forward,” said Harleston boss Danny Crow, speaking to the club’s website.
Meanwhile, Lowestoft manager Gusterson, speaking on Hipperson’s departure, said: “Hippo has been fantastic since the day he walked in the door and he has played a huge part in our success over the last two years.
“His goals, assists, and experience will be hard to replace but unfortunately, his recent change in work commitments means he cannot commit.”
Harleston, who have now made two signings this summer, are still in talks with former Lakenheath, Sheringham and Needham Market striker Jamie Smith.
