Diss Cricket Club sign all-rounder James Harbour from Dereham

Diss Cricket Club have continued their preparations for the 2022 season with the signing of James Harbour.

Last month the Rectory Meadow-based outfit announced their first off-season addition of the winter in Mbeki Joseph, who has previously represented the West Indies at under-19 level.

And Joseph has been joined as a new recruit by Harbour – an all-rounder who comes in from Dereham.

Harbour arrives after a long association with Dereham, having made his debut for the Norfolk side's third team back in 2008 before working his way through into the first team.

A message on Diss' Twitter page read: "The club is delighted to announce James Harbour will be joining us this season.

"James will be a great addition to the 1st XI, strengthening both bowling and batting departments."

Lewis Taylor's Diss will begin the new Norfolk Cricket Alliance Premier Division on Saturday, April 30 with a home encounter against Norwich.
