I felt compelled to write in praise of staff at the Tesco in Diss for the help and attention they gave my mother Josephine O’Donnell, aged 78.
She had been shopping on Saturday, November 14, and upon loading her shopping into the car mistakenly locked her car keys in the boot.
I would like to thank the members of staff who came to her aid until her grandson Max arrived to stay with her, and also the kind people who came to unlock the car.
The whole episode lasted hours. I cannot praise the Tesco team enough, they even offered them coffee and sandwiches while they waited. The operators of the Tesco car wash couldn’t have been more kind and helpful.
My much loved mother was so lucky to be looked after so well at such a worrying time.
