A woman in her 70s who collapsed in Attleborough was taken to hospital but is not thought to be in a life-threatening condition.

The incident happened in Queens Road yesterday, at about 3.53pm.

A rapid response vehicle and an ambulance from the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust, as well as a Norwich-based response car from the East Anglian Air Ambulance, attended the scene.

After the patient was assessed, she was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

A fire crew from Attleborough was also in attendance.
