Woman hospitalised after fall in Dickleburgh

A woman was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital after suffering a fall in Dickleburgh on Monday night.

The East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) was mobilised to the scene, arriving at about 11.38pm.

The patient, a woman in her 50s, had sustained a severe head injury following a fall in her bedroom.

She was treated for injuries by the air ambulance, before being taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital for specialist treatment.
