Investigation launched after woman in her 60s found seriously injured on Mendlesham footpath
A woman in her 60s was found seriously injured on a village footpath.
Members of the public found the woman on the ground, between Old Station Road and Glebe Way in Mendlesham, at 8.15am, on November 18.
The woman was found with serious facial injuries and attended hospital later that day.
Police were called the following day, to investigate how her injuries were sustained and conducted inquiries, including reviewing CCTV footage.
It is believed that the incident occurred between 8.06am and 8.15am.
Officers are keen to speak to a man who was jogging in the area at the time and who may have witnessed the incident.
He is described as skinny with dark hair or a dark hat and was wearing a white vest top and white shorts.
Police would also like to speak to anybody who witnessed the incident or who has any information or anybody who was driving along Old Station Road and has relevant dash-cam footage.
