Witness appeal launched after assault and criminal damage in Harleston

A search for witnesses has begun following an incident of assault and criminal damage in Harleston at the weekend.

At around 1.30am on Saturday, a man and a woman were both assaulted after an altercation with another man and woman in The Thoroughfare.

Both victims suffer minor injuries, with the man being pushed into a glass window, causing it to break.

The female suspect is described as white, aged 22 to 25, around 5 ft 3 ins tall, of stocky build and with long bright purple hair worn in a plait. She was wearing dark blue jeans and an electric blue hoody with white rope tassels.

The male suspect is described as white, in his late 20s, 6 ft tall, of stocky build, with dark wavy brown hair and wearing a hooded top.
