Easter weekend Diss weather latest updates

With Easter weekend just days away, many will be hoping that this week's warm spell is going to stick around.

Latest forecasts from the Met Office for Diss suggest that while sunshine is likely on Sunday - the weekend will not live up to expectations.

With a notable weekly high of 22 degrees celsius predicted later today, temperatures take a turn from tomorrow, plunging to an 11 degrees high tomorrow before falling to 9 degrees on Good Friday.

Similar temperatures are expected for Saturday, with cloud cover giving the sun little chance to gain a foothold overhead.

Easter Sunday may go some way towards rescuing the weekend however, with sunshine set to reappear in clearer skies from around midday onwards according to Met Office reports.

The temperature will not push far into double figures, with predictions currently standing at 12 degrees, but it will certainly be warmer than the preceding days.

Monday puts an end to this shortlived resurgence though, with cloud returning and temperatures falling back to 8 degrees.

On the plus side, chances of rain over the course of the weekend remain quite low for each day.
