Riddlesworth Hall Preparatory School raises hundreds for charity with snowdrop walk
A headmaster has spoken of his delight after a fundraiser opening up his school’s grounds raised hundreds of pounds for charity.
Riddlesworth Hall Preparatory School, whose former pupils include Diana, Princess of Wales, welcomed people on Saturday to enjoy a walk through its snowdrop trails, make their own bird feeders and roast marshmallows.
Headmaster John Forster said: “We were delighted to open up our beautiful grounds to the public.
“We are also really thrilled to have raised £377 – such a significant amount of money – for Macmillan Cancer Support.”
Mr Forster thanked everyone who attended and who helped to make the day a success.
He added: “The event showcased the stunning beauty of the school’s grounds and the hard work and dedication of the staff and volunteers who made it all possible.
“The school looks forward to welcoming visitors back for future events and continuing to support important causes.”
