Slipshoe Lane in Starston to close for three days for £2,000 tunnel work




A village road is set to be closed for three days with more than £2,000 worth of work being done to repair a broken pipe.

Slipshoe Lane in Starston will be closed for repairs to a culvert, a covered pipe or tunnel that allows water to flow under the road, between December 2 and 4 inclusively.

The work will involve removing a leaning North headwall and rebuild it. A full road closure will be in place to maintain a safe working area for Norfolk County Council’s subcontractors.

A signed diversion route will be in place for the duration of the closure with pedestrian access being maintained at all times.

The work will cost £2,250 will be carried out by Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
