Lodge Lane in Shelfanger to close for four days for £3,500 tunnel work
A village road is set to be closed for four days with more than £3,000 worth of work being done to repair a broken pipe.
Lodge Lane in Shelfanger will be closed for repairs to a culvert, a covered pipe or tunnel that allows water to flow under the road, between February 24 to 27 inclusive.
The work will involve removing the north cracked headwall and rebuilding a new headwall.
A signed diversion route will be in place for the duration of the full road closure with pedestrian access being maintained at all times.
The work is funded by the Government via the Network North Highway Maintenance Funding Stream. It will cost £3,500 and will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Infrastructure Department and their contractors.
