Traffic in School Lane, Spooner Row, to controlled by ‘gatemen’ during £2,000 drainage works




A village road is set for three days of traffic management to complete drainage improvement works costing £2,000.

The work on a section of School Lane in Spooner Row will take place from January 20 to 23.

For safety, the road will be manned by gatemen, who will be on site to manage cars entering and exiting School Lane whilst the drainage works is being carried out.

Access will be maintained for residents and service deliveries, however, Norfolk County Council has stressed there may be short delays for road users to enable operatives to vacate the highway beforehand.

The work is being carried out by Norfolk County Council’s community and environmental services department and its contractors.lp.
