Starston Bridge repairs, costing £7,000, to see road closed for nine days




A village road will be closed off for nine days and £7,000 worth of work to repair a bridge.

Starston Bridge, in Low Road, will be closed off from January 6 to 17 to fix brickwork damage to its headwall and parapet fencing.

The work will see a full road closure to ensure the safety of the subcontractors and a signed diversion route will be in place with pedestrian access being maintained at all times.

The work, which will cost £7000, will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Infrastructure Department and their contractors.
