Remembrance Sunday 2019: Harleston parade

Communities across the district came together to honour the sacrifice of our fallen war heroes.

Hundreds of people turned out for Harleston's Remembrance parade to pay their respects on Sunday.

The parade formed on Market Place at 10.15am in glorious sunshine, set off to the war memorial, which was refurbished last year, at 10.30am for a short service.

The parade through the town saw many organisations and groups participate.

Wreaths were laid by several dignitaries at the war memorial and a two minute silence was held at 11am.

A memorial service took place in St John's Church.
