Crews from Woodbridge and Saxmundham attend van fire in Victoria Mill Road, Framlingham, which spread to nearby home




A van has been heavily damaged after a fire in Framlingham which spread to a nearby home.

Fire crews from Woodbridge, Saxmundham and Framlingham were alerted to a home in Victoria Mill Road at 10.44am to find a Mercedes van ablaze.

The fire, which started in the vehicle, had spread to the nearby home, which was contained.

However, the van suffered heavy damage.

A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said no one was injured in the blaze. Police were also called to the scene.

The incident was dealt with by 11.22am.
