Emergency services were called to two accidents within two hours on the A140 at Brome today.

The first happened at about 11.30am, involving a VW Golf and a DAF lorry.

No one was hurt in the incident, while one carriageway was blocked.

The road was clear by 12.46pm.

But eight minutes later, another accident occurred.

The second collision involved a VW Beetle and a Renault Truck.

One person was taken to hospital as a precaution so further checks could be carried out.

The road was partially blocked, and was clear again by 3.10pm.
