Diss Corn Hall exhibit wows Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk during visit
A representative of the King said she was blown away by the heartbreaking story behind a new exhibition at Diss Corn Hall.
Lady Dannatt, the Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk, was speaking after attending a special opening of Kinder Shores, which highlights the experiences of people in care.
“I was completely blown away by the inspirational and deeply moving exhibition and recital,” she said.
The exhibition includes work by late artist Paul Yusuf McCormack, and an exhibit from other children who grew up in care.
“I felt extraordinarily privileged to be part of Yusuf’s completely heart-breaking, but ultimately triumphant, story,” added Lady Dannatt. “My profound gratitude to everyone involved.
“I hope the ongoing exhibition is extremely well attended and continues to wield a powerful impact on all its visitors and beyond.”
