A tree precariously hanging over a Hinderclay road is to be cut down this afternoon.

It is thought the tree, in School Road, was damaged in Storm Doris last week — and is touching phone lines on the opposite side of the carriageway.

A spokesperson for Suffolk County Council said the road is currently closed, and the tree is due to be cut down this afternoon.
