Two people were injured following a two-vehicle collision in Harleston last night that left one of the drivers trapped.

Emergency services arrived on Redenhall Road a little after 7.15pm, where the crash had occurred some time around 7pm.

Fire appliances from Harleston, Long Stratton and one from Suffolk Fire and Rescue used enhanced hydraulic rescue equipment to release one of the people involved, before they were both treated by the ambulance service.

Their injuries are not believed to be serious.
