Heywood Road in Diss to close for two days for £40,000 resurfacing work




A town road is set to be closed for two days for more than £40,000 worth of resurfacing work.

Heywood Road in Diss will closed from October 28, from its junction with Sunnyside, northbound for 100m.

There will be a signed diversion route and access will be maintained for the entirety of the work.

The diversion route is as follows: Mount Street, Market Place, Market Hill, St Nicholas Street, Denmark Street, A1066 Park Road, A1066 Victoria Road, A1066 Diss Road, A140 Scole Roundabout, A140 Scole Bypass, A140 Dickleburgh Bypass, Dickleburgh Road, Burston Road, Station Road, Crown Green, Diss Road, Durbidges Hill, Burston Road, Heywood Road.

The work will cost £40,756.94 and will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Infrastructure Department and their contractors.
