Hus Estates on Market Hill, Diss, brings the Scandinavian touch to the market
A new estate agency, with a simple vision to transform the often stressful experience of buying and selling homes into a seamless, supported journey, has launched.
Hus Estates opened its doors at 9 Market Hill, Diss, to customers on September 16.
The man behind the company, Stefan Dente, was inspired by the Danish concept of ‘hygge’, (pronounced hoo-ga) when setting up the business.
He is now looking forward to bringing this philosophy to homebuyers, sellers, renters and landlords.
Stefan said: “Hygge is all about creating a sense of warmth, contentment and wellbeing.
“I am a big fan of the Scandinavian way of life and, by bringing this concept to the agency, we can ensure that every step of people’s journey is as stress-free as possible.
“We recognise that buying or selling a home is more than just a transaction; it’s a significant life event that deserves care, attention and a personal touch.
“By embracing the principles of hygge, we focus on making our clients feel supported, valued and at ease throughout the entire process.”
Stefan has more than 20 years experience in the property industry, at both corporate and independent estate agents, most recently leading new homes at a national level.
Hus Estates offers comprehensive support, from market valuations to innovative strategic marketing and professional negotiations, ensuring the best possible outcome.
The agency also taken a modern, sustainable and transparent approach to business; operating a paperless office, using recycled or recyclable materials and working with carbon conscious suppliers.
For every completion, the agency will also plant 10 trees on behalf of sellers. All buyers will receive a sapling of a tree to plant in their own garden or to gift to somebody else.
The company has pledged to donate £150 of its fee from every house sale to a local cause; be it the Corn Hall, Waveney Foodbank, Diss High School or East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices.
“Our commitment to supporting our local community is at the heart of everything we do,” added Stefan.
