Glazing Vision in Diss gives presents to Norfolk Salvation Army appeal

A Diss company has sprinkled a little Christmas spirit by collecting presents for children and young people in Norfolk.

Glazing Vision, a roof lighting and window business in Sawmills Road, collected gifts throughout November and has now delivered them to the town’s Salvation Army to be distributed to families in need.

The idea was the brainchild of the company’s marketing executive, Kayleigh Shooter.

She said: “I collect Christmas presents for the Salvation Army every year so I thought, ‘why not go one step further and establish an appeal at work’.

“The response was incredible and our donation box was overflowing – people were so generous.

Glazing Vision’s founder, Hugh Callacher, also donated £500 towards the appeal.

The money was split, with £250 donated to the charity to purchase gift cards and the other £250 to purchase additional gifts focussed on teenagers.
