A Diss auction house is set to welcome TV cameras this week for a BBC show and is asking people to come and be part of the filming
TW Gaze has announced that The Travelling Auctioneers will be filming an episode of its new series at the Roydon Road auction rooms on Friday.
The series follows auctioneers Christina Trevanion and Izzie Balmer as well as restoration expert Robin Johnson uncovering hidden treasures, bringing them back to life and then selling them.
Elizabeth Talbot, the auction rooms director, said: “We are honoured to welcome The Travelling Auctioneers team. Their visit underscores the significance of TW Gaze in the televised auctioneering world and offers a unique opportunity for our clients and visitors to witness the magic of television production first hand.
“As the excitement builds for Friday, we invite everyone to join us in celebrating this wonderful occasion. Whether you are a local resident, an avid collector, or simply a fan of the show, we would be delighted to welcome you on site at the Diss Auction Rooms.
“Join us from 9am and get a good spot before filming starts at 10am.”
The forthcoming episode at TW Gaze is part of the latest series of the show, which was recently recommissioned by the BBC.
