Fire crews from Diss and Long Stratton were called to a fire in Tivetshall St Mary in the early hours of this morning.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service responded to reports of a kitchen blaze in Ipswich Road at 12.08am.

They arrived at the scene at 12.21am, and used main and hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze.

A thermal image camera was also used to check for hot spots.

The incident was under control by 12.56pm. No one was reported to have been hurt in the fire.
