Three nights of resurfacing works set for Long Stratton

A stretch of the A140 in Long Stratton at the Hempnall Crossroads junction will be subject to resurfacing works later this month.

The works, which will cost about £40,000, will take place overnight under restricted working hours from 7pm to 7am for three nights, starting on Thursday, October 15.

During the resurfacing works traffic will be controlled using temporary traffic signals with a convoy system.

A spokesperson for Norfolk County Council said: “Access to businesses and properties will be maintained but it is inevitable that there will be some disruption. The County Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.”

The work will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
