South Norfolk Council is preparing to throw open its doors this Sunday for one of its biggest events, with thousands expected to attend.
South Norfolk On Show, a free event, takes place on Sunday from 11am to 4pm at the council’s offices in Long Stratton.
On the main stage there will be a variety of performances, including ukelele bands, dancing, the Norfolk and Suffolk Rock Choir, a body percussion performance from St Marys Primary School and residents from Mayfields Care Home, and a martial arts demonstration.
Much more will be on offer, such as t-shirt printing, face painting, a photo booth, a free family ukelele workshop, a football target competition and fairground rides.
The fun will last all summer as South Norfolk on Show goes on tour with Children’s Outdoor Theatre events across the district.
Explorers Galore will take place from 11am-2pm on Friday, August 26 at Dis Park Pavilion. Two shows will run at noon and 1pm. Following in the footsteps of the great globetrotter, Phileas Fogg, our bold explorers laugh, sing and dance their way into 80 days-worth of adventure.
