With trade stands, a craft marquee and re-enactment displays, visitors to a vintage rally and country fair were taken on a journey through the ages at the weekend.

The two-day event took place at Goodrich Park, just outside Palgrave, and offered living history displays, vintage vehicles, donkey rides and a dog show among other activities.

“The show went very well, despite the lead-up to it being very wet,” said event organiser Gareth Mutimer, from Bacton.

“A highlight this year was definitely the heavy horse display we had. They were all dressed up how they would have been traditionally.”
